...till the biggest game of the season, the biggest game in the last 23 years and certinaly the biggest game for us supporters of the lost generation (I'm 26). Between now and the end of the season, each game will be bigger & much more important than the last one. Nervous or excited? I'm excited now, but come tomorrow 2.58pm I will be as nervous as I've ever been going into a football match. I think we'll be safe, but it is going to be close, very close with alot more twist & turns before our roll coaster season finally comes to a dramatic conclusion.

Every game is still worth three points, each time we play you could argue that this is our biggest game until we are safe. There's a long way to go yet roro, even at your tender age you know that stoke rarely make it easy for us! Biggest game in 23 years - no, biggest game for a couple of weeks - as churchill would say 'oh yes'

I've been nervous about this game since the final whistle at Everton. I expected to lose at Everton and, although it was gutting to taste defeat, it wasn't out of the blue. I don't expect to lose tomorrow and, even worse, I actually expect us to win.
Whether that is my getting cocky or not, I'm not sure but this really is a six-pointer we have to win. A victory would almost send Boro down and give us a cracking start to this mini-season of four massive games.
The fact that my expectations are high increase the anxiety levels and, it's been said before, but this really is the biggest game of the season. I hate the fact that if we fail to win there is a two week break until our next game. We must put our positive hats on though and raise the roof!
Nervous? I'm bricking it!

Wembley to me how I am feeling right now, tomorrow could just turn out to be the biggest game since I have been following the Potters. I dread to think how low I would feel if we were to lose, abit negative in saying this, but I really believe a defeat could end our season! However on the positive front, I just cannot see us losing tomorrow. By no means are we going to run away with it, but with the right starting eleven, the passion and atmosphere I think we will be victorious gaining all three points.

One more point to make with regards to the match, it is the final match before the ST deadline. For those people who are unsure about next season (which people are), or thinking they don't want see CCC football (Prem Glory Hunters), if we get the right result tomorrow it may just seal those extra ST's.

Good point Mark. I'm sure Coatesy is giving the lads a real kick up the arse with his size nines before kick off.

roro I understand how you are feeling and I do not want to have another game like Leicester last year, but there is no finality about this game. A win for either team would be a massive boost, but that's all, we would still be in the mix and still have to do more in other games whatever happens. Massive is when we need to go to the emirates needing a result. This is Stoke, enjoying the ride is something we seem only able to do in hindsight!

J. I don’t think its a case of being cocky, its juts the fact that wins now, just like all season have been a necessity.

Knowles - whilst I applaud the accuracy of your grammar the phrase "my getting cocky" makes you sound Like Ting Tong!

Wembley I have loved every match so far from the very first friendly against Newcastle Town right upto the Everton match last week.
I see what you are saying & in my head I totally agree with your comments, however, the excitment of the match being tomorrow is just getting me carried away slightly! Though what does worry me is the effect of the result tomorrow will play, I believe will it will play a big role in the players confidence and with the right result we can carry that forward in the remaining fixtures and that is why I think it is vital to get the three points.
