After Griffin's flying drop kick last night, I was wondering if there have been any worse tackles?
to be honest i cant think of any - not even when Chris Kamara was wearing the red and white stripes!

to be honest i cant think of any - not even when Chris Kamara was wearing the red and white stripes! I think Frank McAvennie may disagree with you there, soon after he joined West ham, Kamara sent him several feet up in the air and bust his leg.

The Luton player who ran the whole pitch to get Sidibe Wankerd. Sol Davis wasn't it?

Souness in the Old Firm derby, Keane in the Manchester derby. Both disgusting, career threatening tackles, and both players intended to hurt their opponents.
Dirty bastards the pair of them.....

Kamara was being taken to court over that tackle but video evidence proved he had barely touched McAvvenie! It wasn't even a foul imo yet alone a bad one!
The worst I can remember was Schumacer (the keeper) almost killing the French forward (I forget who) in the world cup.

Keane on Haaland was bad.
That tackle where Rory Delap broke his leg happened just a few metres in front of where I was sitting, there was a massive cracking sound. So much was wrong with that: it was malicious, Delap was actually a Sunderland player at the time, it was off the ball, so very wrong indeed. Pobably not the worst I've seen, just the first that comes to mind.

It was on a bloke called Simon.... or do you mean the sort that happens on the pitch?? I'll go for Keane on Haaland too.

Allerdyce tackle on Garth Crooks in front of the Boothen end.
Hated him ever since. Glad he's out of work the fat northern chancer.
