I guess wba fans will be thinking after last nights hard earned draw against West Ham that if they can beat Bolton and Stoke at home in their next 2 matches and we slip up and lose against Middlesboro they will be level on points with us.
It's a big ask for them but not exactly "mission impossible".

Mental Mowbray was on the radio at lunchtime trying to convince the right minded public that they can stay up with a few wins ...err, that would be 6 wins Tone out of 9 remaining fixtures which include Liverpool, Man City and our good selves. Have a crack at plaiting snot while you're at it

That chancebot probability program still has them at 95% likely to go down. chancebot.com/epl/Boro at 76% Newcastle at 36% Blackburn 24% Stoke 23% Pompey 20% Sunderland 11% Hull 10%

Although Mowbray isnt going to go on radio and say they've give up and are settling for the championship, they havent got a chance of staying up.

I agree that he isn't going to publicly accept defeat, but he does lose some credibility when he makes outrageous comments following a defeat about how fantastic his teams style is...when it's the one reason they keep losing. He sounded like he actually believed that they could stay up.....nothing like blind optimism, eh?
