John-Boy seems to have had the chance to score from not so far out quite a few times recently and they're not going in are they.
He's had enough chances now I think but unfortunately we are short of alternatives.
Stoke can't be a very attractive proposition for a striker can it, you either get stuck on the wing or asked to flick on a series of high balls.
We need to bring one in, but that's a tough sell.

Yep, he's not even the 'ox-in-the-box' that some thought he might be. Cut our losses and give him a free transfer.
TBH you would have thought when we signed him we would have inserted a clause into his contract making it a 'pay-as-you-lose-weight' contract. I can't remember ever seeing a professional footballer as fat as Jon Porkin (wait ... how fat was Neville Southall?).
Should be removed along with Pericard, Pulis Jr, Buxton, Broomes and Hoult.

im affraid to say i don't think big john is good enough for us, he had a gd run of games last season when on loan, but i always doubted his signing in the summer and my doubts are starting to unfold unfortunatly

At least he is getting in the positions to score - he's just not having too much luck at the minute.

But you're never going to score if you fail to get in those positions, are you?
I personally am backing Jon to regain his touch in front of goal. Given enough opportunities, he will get goals.

Don't worry Misibe will be back so thats two wasters who couldn't hit a barn door from a yard out!!! What does Pulis see in wankers like those two and Pericard ffs!

jarhead,
You've put Sidibe's goalscoring talents alongside Parkin's.
Not worthy of a response, in all fairness.

He's not a pro-footballer for me until he looses about two stone. He won't regain whatever scoring-touch or footballing ability he had until this happens. At the moment I can't decide whether he is more embarrassing to the club, or more of a liability.

Popular to contrary belief, he isn't all that overweight. His lack of mobility is highlighted by the unwillingness to chase the lost causes, but realistically that isn't his game.

I mostly agree with nath and I'm not anti-Beast but the trouble is, without his instinct for goal working and his sometimes great first touch, he isn't really much use... whereas Mama's never less than very useful indeed.

No one can deny that Parkin has a decent touch for a big fat fooker and he has shown the ability to pick out a clever pass but I'm afraid he is not suited to Pulis's style of play, is too immobile , too unprofessional, too lazy and so I've written him off.........I would offload with all of the usual suspects.
No left winger - Pughy is at his LEAST effective in that position regardless of what Pulis bought him for -and no additional goalscorer and I am starting to fear 8th AGAIN!!!! I'm delighted we've made Ryan permanent but every transfer window we seem to lose momentum!!!
Tick, tick, tick...................................................................
