Now dont get me wrong here, the whole shady way that Wet Sham went about bringing Tevez and Mascherano in should not go unpunished and all that but this Sheff U "we will sue you to make the league stand up and take notice" thing, to me, is nothing but a joke.
Like I said, Wet Sham illegally brought in the two Argies and that should be looked into and yes, Richard Scudamore should be investigated for being a useless t**t, but what gives Sheff U the right to basically blame Wet Sham for getting them relegated?!.
Firstly, Tevez did not score all the goals that kept the Hammers up. Its a team of 11 players. The fact that Tevez scored the winner at Old Trafford should mean nothing.
Secondly, If Sheff U had not blown a 10 point gap over their relegation rivals then they wouldnt of been relegated.
And thirdly....if Sheff U had not lost over half their Premier League games that season then yes, they wouldn't have been in a relegation scrap.
So, how can they blame the fact that they were relegated on one player when it was them that played the whole Premier League season and were not good enough to stay up?. I can see their frustration in the whole Tevez thing and if it were Stoke then yes, I would be a little annoyed but the fact is, it wasn't Tevez who sent Sheff U down it was Sheff U themselves.
Im sure others will have a different view on this but Im sick and tired of hearing how Sheff U make themselves out to be victims here and now Warnock wants to sue for loss of earnings!? will this charade ever bloody end?

I agree that it's a pantomime, but if the PL had taken the correct action in the first place (ie. Deducting points, as they surely would've if it had been a less fashionable club in the dock), then all this could have been avoided.

The thing is West Ham were rubbish until he went there, he did keep them up almost singlehanded. I applaud them for not letting it drop.

Lower League clubs have been thrown out of cup competitions for accidentally fielding an ineligible player for one game. Tevez played for three quarters of a season and his compatriot for half a season whilst being ineligible players - and for much of the time West Ham KNEW they were ineligible. The MINIMUM penalty Wet Sham should have received was a ten point deduction which would have seen them relegated and none of this charade would have happened.

I agree that Sheffield Utd largely have themselves to blame, but make no mistake about it, without Tevez, West Ham would have been relegated. They were absolutely dreadful until he started to show some form, and his goals were the difference. Who would have scored them if he hadn't been there? Bobby Zamora? What I don't get is why is Tevez allowed to play for Man Yoo? I thought third party ownership wasn't allowed?
