How do you all see it going?
any side from 10th onwards are in contention in terms of points, but the current 4th placed everton are in the driving seat.
I really think everton have come on so much as a side over the last 5 seasons, and under the guidance of David Moyes prove a tough nut to crack home and away.
Player's such as Cahill, Pienaar, Yakubu, Johnson all potential match-winner's however in my opinion i think they'll just fall short this season and take a respectable 5th place.
5th place aston villa are another side who under the guidance of in my opinion the 2nd best manager in the premiership behind Wenger, Martin O'Neill have gone from league table mediocrity too a side more than capable of at least a uefa cup place.
The loss of Mellberg could prove big as him and laursen have formed an excellent defensive partnership, but again they pocess players who can give defenders hell, ashley young on the flanks, barry and petrov ochestrating the midfield, and John Carew proving a top signing buy O'Neill.
Again for me though, not quite have the back-bone and quality just yet for a champions league spot but a respectable 6th.
Moving onto Liverpool who no doubt have the quality in there side to challenge for the title, but once again consistancy has denied liverpool again.
The over debated rotation system of benitez is no doubt in my opinion affecting players who can't get in any real rythm when playing 1 game and sitting 1 out.
Torres has proven a breath of fresh air and worth every penny liverpool paid out for him.
Players such as: Benayoun, Babel, Mascherano all good signings, they have the quality there, they just can't transform into results.
But in my opinion this side has far too much quality to not get a 4th place finish, and with or without benitez should and i think will make that 4th spot despite that looking rather bleak at the moment.
Blackburn Rovers have had a very much up and down sort of season with good results combined with shock scorelines notably Coventry's 4-1 thumping.
They no doubt have a quality side but the only two player's have played consistently well all season are Bentley and Santa Cruz, even there previous start performers McCarthy and Gamst Pedersen, have looked distinctly average, and defensively they have been leaking lot's of silly goals.
They no doubt have the right man for the job, and i'm sure this season Blackburn will achieve a respectable 9th place.
Portsmouth under the guidance of Redknapp have in my opinion had a fairly good season, home form proving disappointing at times, but away form being there saving grace.
Benjani has answered his critics and so far had an excellent season, and since Yakubu has been the only real man who has scored for them consistently, with signings such as Nugent proving less than affective.
Solley Muntari has proved a real class act in midfield, and i think harry is really starting to put the final pieces together as to achieve a uefa cup spot, i think a good 7th for pompey.
Man City have no doubt come on in leaps and bounds and with a rather large financial helping they have bought well.
Elano is a real class act, and wouldn't look the odd one out in a strong top 4 outift.
Sven has done a good job, but i suppose with the financial backing he's had success thus far has proved a minimum requirement.
They seem to have taken a little dip in form of late, but i can see City achieving 8th spot.
And then in my opinion in terms of points the final outsider West Ham, who have had a good season so far under Curbs.
I still don't think the quality is there for a champions league or even top 8 finish.
But West Ham are definately moving forward, and players such as: Bellamy, Ljungberg, Parker and Ferdinand all playing well, and goalie rob green's form must mean he's not a million miles away from a england call-up.
A respactable 10th for the hammers i think.
If anyone could be arsed to read that
