Yep thats all very good but it's got to start at the top. The respect campaign the FA have launched is just a shallow publicity stunt. They have got to introduce rules that will actually work and improve respect towards officials. Starting with players can't speak to officials. Only the captain should be allowed to speak to an official. I'm sick to death of seeing players effing and blinding at each other and officials, and getting away with it.

Well said mark71 You must be an intelligent chap to come out with that...you must be a fellow Rimmer I think the manager should be allowed to shout at his players and Mum and Dad to shout at their own kids....shout encouraging things though rather than telling them they are wank. I think you have to consider the level of the kids you are dealing with though. Capable kids need and deserve a firmer hand - no point being all soft on them. Kids that are just shit and play for pure fun rather than to win should be treated differently. Anybody that thinks that winning shouldn't matter at all for kids need their heads removing with a double barrelled shotgun.
