They really are make or break. Realistically we've got to be looking at nothing less than 7 points. If we can remain unbeaten with a few wins, maybe getting 8 points, would be better, as it would keep the other sides down there below us.
7/8 would be acceptable in my opinion, anything less and I think it'll be squeaky bum time come the last few games.

I can't see any reason why we REALISTICALLY can't get all 12 points. All our home matches are very winnable, and West Brazil away could be the game that ultimately keeps us up.

Said for some time that these fixtures would be crucial, It would be nice to think after these games we might be safe and that would be some achievement with 5 games to go !

We definately need to get 7/8 points minimum, but I'm afraid that it doesn't always work out that way. We've gathered 9 points from the last 10 games, and to stay up, we need to greatly improve on that return.
We are overly reliant upon home form, but I worry we are due a home defeat somewhere along the line and while I expect that to come against Blackburn, it could just as easily come against Boro or Castle, especially if we are not on top of our game. That would be a disaster imho and really put us in trouble. Plus, I'm not so sure that WBA and Hull away, will be as easy as some think for our first away win.
We're all opimistic about our run-in, but maybe we need to calm down a bit. The games against the bottom sides will be very cagey, and (poor) refereeing decisions can go either way and will have a big influence. Lets keep our fingers crossed that we can rise to the challenge and win the crucial battles in the weeks ahead.

if the yhavenmt figured out by now that wins alone are needed to stay up, the Stoke dont deserve to do so. If, and obviously if, they play like they did against Bolton, no reason why 12 points cannot be garnered

The only sure thing is that we won't win any away games IMO even West Brom...which makes us massively dependent on home form...

We should definitely be going all out to win all of these games. I'd settle for 3 wins out of 4, even if it was against the Baggies as they are in the deepest shit. Would be almost funny if they beat us but were relegated as we stayed up!

We should have been trying to win every game from the first game of the season until the last game of the season.
Given ourselves some added pressure due to some negative displays away from home.

I think I'd just about settle for 7 points right now from the next 4 games.
The margins are going to be so small in all 4 games and if we come out the right side of a couple of the 6-pointers and share the spoils in another, I don't think we'll have done too badly.
All it takes is a couple of draws against Boro and Newcastle and things start to look a bit sticky.
