We were on the lower level near the back with posts blocking our views in all directions. It was like sitting at a circus, how they have the nerve to charge to sit in that shithole beggars belief. To top it all,no beer on sale.Nice to see we are still treated like criminals.

Really terrible ground. Looks shit from outside, and is so dated it is unbelieveable, wooden seats and a wooden floor, and those bloody posts Everton fans must love going to away games so they dont have to sit in that hole

Couldn't believe how shit Goodison was yesterday. I knew it was going to be dated but i thought it would have character like Hillsborough, but my god what a dump, poor views, shocking facilities and for £32.00- JOKE

I kind of like Goodison in a way, I tend to enjoy visiting the old ground rather than the new identikit stadiums. However, the restricted view is a pain in the arse, and even if it's a game your fans weren't up for, there is no excuse for the complete lack of any sort of noise. Still, good luck for the rest of the season. ;D

Quite simply a toatl dump in a shit hole of an area with possibly the worst home support this year. What the fuck was going on with the wooden floor in the lower tier, how the hell is that allowed? As for the "seats", Jesus wept how the hell do they get away with those bloody things and still have the cheek to charge people to get in? The place wants levelling to be honest.

Sorry, but I don't agree at all with the messages on here. Do I take it everyone who has posted criticism here prefers the Brit to the Vic?
This a proper old ground, in the middle of its community. Wandering down the terraced streets before the game took me back 20 years. People setting up stalls in driveways, garages and even a church hall.
Inside, yes its run down and tatty and the view of the pitch is rubbish, but it oozes history and atmosphere (if only their near-silent fans realised it!) I had a post blocking one of the goals but would I swap it for the shiny new place they had a picture of on the local paper that night, no way!
But then I prefer the old Wembley to the new one as well so what would I know?!

If they are happy with there ground being stuck in the 70's they should charge 70's prices!

I don't remember the view from anywhere in The Vic (or any ground I've ever been to for that matter) being as poor as the one I had yesterday. Olde-world charm and character are luxuries that I'll sacrifice in order to be able to see what's going on on the pitch.

Although I do like the old grounds I also like to be able to actually see the game if im paying those prices. That bloody post was a pain and I kept falling over the little step in front of the seats. Thought we were loud and enjoyed the day apart from the score. Went in pub very near ground and enjoyed Man Ures drubbing much to the displeasure of the Everton fans. A few wins now please Stoke and a stay in the Prem would be nice.
