yet again I'll predict we might actually get something from this game, hopefully not to be dissapointed but this time feels different as we are actully in abit of form and Everton may well be ripe for the taking.
Can't wait for it, never been to Goodison before, goooooooooarn Stoke

I predict 1-1 ;D I predicted 2-2 for our game at Villa. I was still heard saying on the 85th minute: "Don't worry it will finish 2-2, just you see" I'm a miracle worker, what else can i say.

Who's missing for Everton? Yakubu, Anichebe and Arterta are out, and isn't Hibbert also injured at the moment?

“And the pleasing thing is he looks to win every game. It’s not as if he sets up his team to defend and get draws, he sets up his team to win and to get the three points.”
I'll have what he's on!!!
Must be a wind-up - I can't see Everton being so ignorant of our away tactics.

Sadly we will lose (3-0 perhaps). I have allowed for this though and we will stay up, so don't worry.

cant believe you're writing Everton off so easily You're obviously clear favourites, with a Stoke win being the third most likely of the possible results. That goes without saying. We always go very optimistic after we've won a game. It doesn't happen very often And seeing a teamsheet without Yakubu and Arteta (and any real strikers) does promote a bit of confidence. But Everton, as a team, do always seem to be much more than a collection of their ordinary-looking parts. And, despite a lack of stars, they normally find a way to get the job done.

1-1 (Cahill and Beattie to score)
Wizard of aus - what do you expect Everton to line up like?

I think we're going to get something. We've got points away to better teams than Everton- come so close at Chelsea and for me are looking better than any time in the season. Full squad for the first time in the Prem to choose from-we're scoring goals, Everton missing the one player that makes them tick. Don't fear them at all.
2- 1 to us. Beattie is nailed on to score

For the first time this season I think we can get an away win this weekend. Evertons home form is not brilliant. Brazil should have beaten them . Correct tactics employed however Mr Pulis.

Not brilliant? lol have a look at the last 8 games at Goodison mate. This is how I imagine Everton to line up: -----------------------------Howard----------------------------- --Jagielka------Yobo---------Lescott--------Baines------------- ---Osman-----Fellaini-------Neville------Pienaar----------- -------------------------Cahill----------------------------------- --------------------Saha----------------------------------------

Low scoring game from 2 teams who work hard and play as teams, not individuals. You'll find it a lot different than against Villa. We haven't the variety they have up front with most of the strike force out for the season, but we have a pretty solid defence and are good at what we do. Having seen Hull, Middlesboro and West Brom twice each you seem by far the better team in defence and should survive as that is where I think it will be won/lost. Attractive footie from W Brom but poor defence and no bite up front, Middlesboro unimaginative and lacking once behind (but they did a good job on us in the FA Cup) and Hull so poor at the back I can't see how they won any game this season! Portsmouth seem to be crumbling as well. Stoke look resilient and I hope you stay up and bet you do it with 1 or 2 games to spare.

Everton's stats make for grim reading, guys...
1. Avoided defeat in 16 of the last 17 in all competitions, winning 10.
2. Unbeaten in four Premier League matches; won two and lost two since losing 1-0, away to Manchester United on 31 January. That's their only defeat in 12.
3. Kept four straight clean sheets, and not conceded in 406 minutes (six hours 46 minutes) of top-flight football since Cristiano Ronaldo's winner from the penalty spot for Manchester United six weeks ago.
4. Not conceded from open play for 450 Premier League minutes (seven hours 30 minutes) since Robin van Persie's 90th minute equaliser for Arsenal in the 1-1 draw at the Emirates on 28 January.
5. Conceded 28 goals in 28 Premier League matches.
6. Dropped just two points out of the last possible 15 at home.
7. Conceded one goal in six league games at Goodison, and failed to score in one of 11 on home soil.
8. Lost one of the 14 league games this term in which they have opened the scoring (away to Arsenal); and won one of the 11 in which their opponents have led the way (home to West Ham).
9. Lost twice to bottom-half clubs; home to Portsmouth and Blackburn.
10. Stoke could be the third of a possible seven clubs they do the double over this season, following Bolton and West Brom.
Let's surprise them...GOARRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNN STOKE

Let's surprise them...GOARRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNN STOKE well thats just killed my thoughts stone dead ;D oh well this is my opinion anyway. I've seen Everton a few times lately with mixed views, against Liverpool in the two cup ties they were excellent, BUT you would expect that bit more in derby games. Versus West Brazil at home they won 2-0 but were not that good, in fact with better finishing Brazil could and should have got something. Next v Boro, same again, Boro went in front but couldn't hold it and maybe with a bit of grit they would have. They clearly aren't the same without Arteta, and also without Anchibe (still handcuffed ;D) and Yakubu surely Abdy et al can handle Cahill and Saha. We will have to have our heads on though no doubt about it. A point for me going with Sorro Wilko Abdy Ryan Higgy LL Delap Whelan Ethers Beatts Ricci Soak it up first half, keep it level and go for it. Please ;D ;D ;D
