Sorry if this links been posted before If lawros predictions were all correct this is what the table would look like: prem.leaguerepublic.com/Index.do?selectedSeason=2378814&selectedDivision=5781492Appart from lawro just being a bit shit at predicting scores, i think it perfectly displays his total bias against us and generally reflects what the media think about us. More over this shows how well we are doing compared to what the media expects us to do. I think the boys are doing us proud

Why does Lawrenson predicting we'll lose games mean he hates us? I predict results on what I think will happen not on which team I like or dislike.
Do you actually understand the definitions of the words "hate" and "proof"?

Well done for finding that, I had wondered how many points he'd actually given us this season.
Strange too, as he said near the start of the season how we were best equipped of the promoted sides to stay up. Although it probably also illustrates that many of our 'winnable' games are yet to come.

How that then? He has us to loose or draw week in week out?
Which would mean W.B and Hull would have to be absolutely atrocious. Well he's not far off with W.B..

Ok ya patronising bell end, go and fill in prem prediction table thing on the bbc, do you find that you give stoke unusually good results unless you stop yourself? I know i do and in fact most people will do for their team, its an inherent bias because you love your club. How many people on here have you seen get stoke finishing in 10th in those predictors? loads. they know that it aint going to really happen its just wishfull thinking. here lawro gives us 13 whole points! which i think may point to a dislike for our club or at least some form of negative bias. or he's just shit, your choice.

how many more time... on football focus before a ball had been kicked this season Lawrenson said that we were the best equipped of the three promoted sides to stay up He said that after the Villa game at the Brit. Not really "before a ball had been kicked", but it was early-doors. However, he has consistently contradicted that view in his weekly predictions since then.

Yes, to be fair think he just calls it as he sees it. Obviously we have surprised him quite a bit this season!
At the end of the day i'd rather him predict we lose and we win rather than the other way 'round!

to be fair i got bak form the game just as the stoke match was on MOTD and Lawro AND Shearer both said they think we'll defo stay up so you can't really say he's that biased. i think his predictions are based on the fact that our form over the season tends to suggest that most Prem teams are actually better than us at getting results and i don't think we've done that much to disprove that theory. on paper most teams probably would beat us

That table makes for good reading. It means that we can all be quite smug from now on. Really shows how much we've defied the critics.

I think lawro acts as the voice of the media in general in a lot of ways, he basically just says whatever the current opinion is of the time. This is reflected in his predictions. 13 points in this league really shows how low the opinion of us has been throughout the entire season.
I actually think its done us a massive favour to be honest, I prefer it when everyone hates us.

Long live Lawros predictions.......its right to think that Media dislike Stoke as we play outside of their preconcieved conventional ideals of Premieship footie.
Passion from players and fans shared to produce a volatile cocktail that harks back to the traditions of the game ................no wonder they don't like us.
STOKE CITY = A football team that gives a 110% for the fans and the shirt on their backs.
I hope Lawro doesn't tip us for a WIN for the rest of the season.
THE TOOL.

Do you actually understand the definitions of the words "hate" and "proof"? Perhaps a more accurate title for this thread would have been "Proof of how little Lawro rates us (in spite of his empty rhetoric about us being "the best-equipped to stay up")".

Lawrenson must wake up every morning and pinch his cock to remind himself that he one played professional football.....how he played for Liverpool is beyond me.
He was a lucky to be professional footballer in my opinion and is even luckier to be a pundit on TV.

Just because his views are nothing other than guesswork doesn't mean he hates us.
Save your venom for those who have had a sustained campaign against Stoke, such as Talksport and various tabloid journalists.

Now he may be a shit pundit fair enough , but if you think he was lucky to be a pro footballer you don't have a clue honestly.

Lawrenson has said several times, and he repeated it again on Sunday night that he thinks Stoke will survive. He said it at the start of the season. He simply gives his opinion match by match and he mostly goes for a result that most people outside Stoke would agree with. Can't see what anyone has against him personally.

Surely you're just after a reaction here if, as I think, you mean Souness. He was a tosser, a thug, a wanker and fucking brilliant footballer. Sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick here!
I agree with RAF though, Lawrenson was a superb player.
