A very gracious and humble admission that we were right and they were wrong.

Saw some Brazil fans saturday night and they immediately told me we'd stay up, they would go down and that they just wish they had a manager as good as Pulis.

It might not be nice, it may not be pretty, but they are at least making a fist of it - even if they go down their fans can be satisfied that they couldn't have done anymore and sweat blood for the cause.
Beat's out predictable, delusional crap any day of the week. I feel short changed, totally and utterly ripped off and let down. Logged

I certainly feel let down.
They deserve credit for keeping in the battle, although the money spent on the likes of Beattie and Etherington has certainly helped them.
Their style has worked better than many pundits said it would and people such as Gabriel Marcotti owe Pulis an apology as he seems to be proving everyone wrong. He really is impossible to relegate. Logged

Agreed, we have certainly been left with egg on our faces by our CHairman, manager and overrated tip-tap players. Logged RowleyBaggie2 Global Moderator Senior Baggie

I just want to feel that win lose or draw the players have put everything on the line for my club.
Did anyone see us coming back from 3-1 down with 2 minutes to go? We didn't even get into Arsenals box. Logged

I knew it would be a struggle but i find it difficult to see Hull and Stoke competing so much better than us especially given our previous experience in the top flight. Its as if our past seasons in the premiership have counted for nothing. Logged

Well they havent. Everytime we go down we bring in a whole load of new players. The only lesson we have learnt is that we arent a premiership side.
This is the first season however we have been the worst team in the division. That is one of the most painfull things.

That's what really hurts: How we have been left standing and clubs have passed us by. Logged RowleyBaggie2 Global Moderator Senior Baggie

In our first promotion year Stoke were in League 1 and Hull fighting relegation to the conference.

It pissed me off how many people on this site sneered at Stoke and knowingly said they'd never stay up. Same with Hull.
Now, it's not impossible for them to be relegated but it's far from a certainty.
