i was in the John Smiths stand tonight, and Fullers celebration was ace. whilst continuously pointing to all the fans, he appeared to do some kind of hugging motion i think. Either way, he looked like he was saying, "That was for you". I think he's a legend. Methinks he's here to stay for awhile boys and girls

fuller has allways bein qualty but sometimes its much easier to pick ot the bad points rather than the good fuller seems happy again and is ready for the fight tone seems to have done a brilliant job steering him back on the tracks recentley.

He seemed more delighted with it than his Villa goal. He was absolutely thrilled!

He spotted the flag when jogging back to the centre circle, pointed at it then did his double punch in the air thing.

STILL a woman at my local after the match was moaning he was lazy! AAAARGH! There's none so blind as those who cannot see mate. The mind boggles at some of our fans doesn't it? Ric actually works bloody hard for a player with his explosive pace, sometimes he does look knackered but its like expecting Usain Bolt to do his sprints but still be running alongside Gabri Salasi after 3 hours.

Interesting comments from Barry Horne on the Football First Sky edit, basically saying he's seen a lot of games this season, and he hasn't seen a striker work harder than Fuller in the games he's seen him.

I heard that as well FM, people need to understand Ric does his work when the ball is near him. He has to save himself for those electric bursts, if he didn't he wouldn't be half as effective.

Yeah, it was very deep. It's a good thing that he's back to his best. We need him at this vital stage of the season. Touch wood he doesn't lose his marbles and get sent off again!

Haven't heard the comments but I thought he worked particularly hard tonight. He didn't let the Bolton defenders settle when they were in possession, he was really at them constantly, it was very noticeable.

Thing is that that is definitely true when Ric has the bit between his teeth and feels he has something to prove. When things don't go his way....well, we all know what can happen. Let's hope he keeps things in order because I think a fully fit and functioning Beattie-Fuller (plus Mama and Camara) strikeforce is just too good to go down from this division.

As an exile the majority of the matches I've seen this season have been streamed with the Football First commentary. A definite recurring theme has been Fuller's "phenomenal" work rate. You need to see things with your own eyes though I admit, and obviously Ric's body language can be poor and he's prone to sulking around, but I've always been surprised to read the such forceful lazy comments that appear on here regularly.

he must start at everton for me its tops the other team taking another 10 yards forwad step as they can be caught with the space behind them hich he runs into don the channels or middle, which lifts all the ther players with mama and beattie toghether we we just dont have that pace would love tosee all 3 but can se it unless we are losing near the end

It's great to see Fuller soooo happy about getting on the score sheet last night and being happy at stoke. We were sat by some of his family on Sunday at villa. You could tell it was family he looks just like his Mum. They were loving it at Villa joining in with all the chanting! Possible that they were at the Brit last night watching again, which could indicate the celebration to the john smiths stand???
