We all know there are two Ricardo Fullers.
The one who strikes fear into defenders, gets the crowd buzzing, scores and makes goals at will.
And the one who strikes fear into his own captain, and spends the whole game wandering around petulantly or blarting at the ref about being fouled.
On Sunday it appeared that Good Ricardo has returned with a vengeance, and thank Christ for that. If he can click (and is played often enough) with BT we have to be looking at about 12 goals between them as a minimum from the run-in, which will keep us up.
Anyone still want him drummed out of the club because of a few indiscretions committed by Bad Ricardo?

if he can keep up the consistency, yes.

I've never wanted him out of the club, but I've never wanted him on the pitch when he's in one of his lazy, mardy moods, which has been almost every game since Arsenal. He was much more lively when he came on oon Sunday though, he always seems to be when he is used as an impact sub (think Newcastle away and Cardiff at home a few years back).

good ricardo holds the key to our survival hopes, no two ways about it when on form a truly fantastic footballer. When off form, a pedantic pain in the arse

I dont suppose him wanting a contract extension has anything to do with his sudden 'knuckle down' attitude? I was surprised as everyone with his ability to jump up and get on with the game after his 'penalty tackle' on Sunday!

Maybe Fuller wasn,t the problem when you consider Griffin hasn,t played since Fuller "punched" his lights out!! Oh sorry I meant "tapped" on the side of the head!!

I think Pulis deserves some credit for the way he has managed RICARDO over recent months.
I think hes a quiet word and told RIC that he brought him to STOKE ...resurrected his career, with his help.....RIC you've proved your good enough.....Now show em how good you are.
A LEGEND IN THE MAKING!! Already a favourite.
GOOAAARRRRNNNNN SSTOKE. ;D

I think it would be better if beattie and sidibe were the strikers and we used fuller as a sub. Against Newcastle he came on and changed the game and he did the same on sunday. He has pace and strength and against a tired defence it's just what you want.

He was certainly on form on saturday, got the crowd and the rest of the team buzzing. He was outright idiotic and disrespectful at upton park, but it'd take a lot for me to want him out of the club, he's worth turning up for alone when he's playing like saturday.

apb1, so "we all know there are two Ricardo Fullers"?
I take it you haven't been reading the threads on him, this past few weeks or, bearing in mind your correct analysis on Riccy, you would have been bowled over by the number on this MB who refuse to admit that he is anything other than God.
Yes, let's hope that he stays positive and hard-working, with his inimitable skill thrown in, and, as I said earlier this week, that a looming contract has nothing to do with his renewed vigour, at the week-end, and everything to do with a resolve to join the rest of the lads in their consistent and admirable endeavours for the club.
Must leave now. Can't wait for this evening, even if it means more torture.

I'm in the Ricci is God brigade. Desperate for him to play tonight. When he gets the ball, don't blink, because you never know what that guy is going to do next.
After his awsome performance against Villa, he must be up for it tonight.
Just take him forwhat he is, a maverick, one of the most talented footballers I've seen at Stoke in 37 years.
If he had good knees and a perfect temperament, he would be Thierry Henry and John Barnes rolled into one.

I think his bad side is born out of frustration with the service he gets at times, although he's generally known to have had a mardy side to him throughout his career, but i don't think it helps when he has the ball lumped up to him in a "here do summat with this" fashion helps, stoke strikers under TP have to do a lot more than a lot of other strikers and it probably does get frustrating at times when the service is so scant.

If even a massive Fullerholic like Pulis can't knock his rough edges off, I think we can assume that no-one ever will. Let's just enjoy the ride. And ,with him, that's mardiness, sulks and strops as well as some of the best forward play we've seen for 30 years. If he didn't have his flaws, both temperamental and medical, he wouldn't be at a club like ours in the first place.

He only is!
Tends to score in spurts, so we can expect a few more now, it's been a while...
Ethers for Beats
Lawro for Ricci
Whelan popping up to get some on the edge of the box
We might just get enough goals at this rate.

how about the people who said 'sack him' Football is an emotional game !! He is a match winner, bordering on genius ( not said lightly ), he has his flaws but you wouldn't want him playing for any other team other than Stoke.

Ric has come back and is doing well and when Griff comes back he wont let us down.
