There seems to be a fair bit of negativity around on here, with many people suggesting that today's result be the decisive one in seeing us relegated. However, we are STILL out of the relegation zone, which means we only have to match the results of the three teams below us to keep safe, we are not in a position where we need to chase anybody. Sure, Blackburn have a game in hand, but when your at the bottom end of the league it's hardly the same thing as points in the bag. We have to play both our main relegation rivals Boro and Blackburn at fortress Britannia, with West Ham, Wigan, Newcastle and Bolton also visiting. 5 wins takes us to 40 points and would, I am sure, see us safe. I'm not suggesting we're going to win ALL those games, but our home record is pretty good. We've averaged 1.69 points a game at home, and considering we've played all of the top 6 in those 13 games, it's even more impressive. A similar haul in the last 6 home games and it's not infeasible to see us picking up at least 3 wins and a couple of draws from these last 6 home games. Our away games are slightly more of a problem, Villa, Everton and Arsenal are unlikely to yield points, so we I would say we need a win and a draw from Hull, West Brom and Fulham. Given our penchant for taking points from the Baggies, and Hull's general shiteness since their bubble burst I think it's more than likely we can get the required target. I'm optimistic despite today's result, it's coming to the end of Feb and we're still not in the bottom 3. BELIEVE ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif)

Thing is though look at the fixtures and home to Portsmouth is one that was down as winnable. Of course this could all be offset by winning a few away games. Then after winning some away games we'll nail jelly to the ceiling. ![:-[](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/fwGSRilBFZwfei5Q6XIp.gif)

The Brazil game won't be as straight forward as some of us seem to think it will.

8 8 3 at home and 0 3 16 away.
That's my prediction.
