First off - am I Richard Cresswell?No.
Am I his number one fan? No.
Do I think he should of replaced Mama? No.
Do I think he is Premiership quality? No.
Was he at fault for the last goal? No.
Cresswell was told by his manager to come on and play. Which he did and gave his best effort as always. He did as much as he could for Johnsons cross and ultimately Ryans tried too hard too do something with the shot and scored the OG.
Too many people have an agenda against Cresswell on here and quite frankly its embarrassing too see so many stokies not removing the blinkers and seeing the bigger picture sometimes.
Give the bloke a break, he may be the one to score the goal that keeps us up. No doubt if that happens we will have The Richard Cresswell Appreciation Society.
Ryan unfortunately has cost us 2 points even though I thought he was one of our better players today.

It would have been interesting to see fans reactions if it had been Cressy who scored the own goal!!! I don't think people would have been as sympathetic as they have been towards Ryan

The problem is, the introduction of Cresswell, is like a portent for bad luck. It is the signal for stoke to drop back a further ten yards and defend like there lives depend on it. It is quite frankly a ridiculous tactic which more often than not leads to late goals being lost as the team defends so deeply.
Today we were in relative control. Cresswell came on, and i was worried. For me it is a signal to the rest of the team to drop back and defend the 16 yard box like your life depends on it.
it is stupid. How many games as Cresswell been on and we've conceded late goals?

I hope any negativity from the support doesn't affect Cresser (I thought I heard a few boos when he came on today?) because we can't afford him to get any more wank!
The bloke always gives 100%, and for that I applaud him.
I don't think he should have come on today and there is a strong argument that he cost us the win.
But at the end of the day it's not his fault is it? He's not going to say "Nah Gaffer, I really think you should put Camara on instead" is he?

Love him for last season but hey,
their left back shot - who should have been marking? Case closed m'lud.
We are in the elite league now - Cresswell and Sidibe will play 20 games each. Not good enough imho.

He was actually booed when he came on as a sub, by people in the South Stand. I don't call them supporters at all. Tossers one and all.
