Last time he took charge of one of our games he ended up more like a boxing referee. Guess where that was?

If any of our players chin each other tomorrow I will personally take to the field and drag them off...
This guy's a rookie isn't he? I think the West Ham game was only his 5th or 6th Prem game? Could be interesting.....

When asked the question .........
What is the best game you have officiated and why?
........... his reply was.
Whilst the play off final at Wembley has been the most important game of my career to date the most best game that I refereed was an FA Cup 1st Round tie in 2000/2001 between Canvey Island and Port Vale. Canvey island took a 2-1 lead with early in the second half before Port Vale fought back to be leading 2-4 when the time added board was put up showing three minutes. In those three minutes Canvey island scored twice to force a replay. The reason that I think this is the best game that I have been involved in is that it was a typical cup tie played on the a non league ground and the result was always in doubt. The scenes when Canvey island made it 4-4 were unbelievable, it was as if they had actually won the Cup! I actually refereed the replay 10 days later at Port Vale, whilst the game was not as exciting it provide a cup upset with Canvey Island winning 1-2 after extra time to set up a local derby in the second round against Southend United. ;D

to be fair you can't really criticise him for what happened at West Ham can you? Although i don't suppose he gave Griff or Ric a mandatory standing 8 count before the red card......

it wasn't his fault. And being a baby ref, he might get intimidated at the brit.

He never really seems to do anything controversial, so I'm happy. I open these threads now really hoping its not Styles or Riley.

It wasn't his fault about the incident, but it wasn't a red card. West ham should not have benefitted from it in anyway and it cost us a point.

He didn't exactly cover himself in glory at West Ham, forgetting Ric's indiscretion, Jones failed to book several home players (Pughy was on the brunt of one pretty awful tackle which resulted in him going off and no yellow) while seemingly happy to flourish the card our way for nothing at all. If Mr No Tackle (Seyi) gets booked you know you're on to a loser!

I've long since ceased to care WHO is refereeing us for each game.
As long as you're a Stoke fan in the Premiership, you know he's going to be an utter cĂșnt.
Various factors have led us to this state of affairs, but the biggest, in my opinion, is Wenger. How I'd LOVE to see an already-safe Stoke side prevent the whinging serial-killer lookalike from qualifying for the Champions League on the last game of the season, causing him to be shown the exit door - hopefully from England as well as from Arsenal - soon afterwards.
