Just heard a clip of Tango on TalkShite and he sounded very sheepish about the injury saying something along the lines of "of cause its a concern and its a matter of fingers crossed" Doesn't sound like a simply procedure to me and he's clearly very worried. That seems a long way to go for a simple arthroscopy(keyhole), imho. He is returning to the same specialist who dealt with his previous injury.

True pez, but it seems to have taken them a fair while to decide he needs to go there. Ever since he took the knock on his debut at West Ham (4 weeks ago), Tango has been saying he could feature "at the weekend"??

But if it's a totally unrelated meniscus tear, as previously stated by Hull, it seems a very long way to go to have a relatively small operation....................unless you're worried about the stability of the knee from the old injury, which hasn't been mentioned to my knowledge.

Whe JB signed for Hull we had several of our regular 'only post after defeats' type posters saying TP missed a trick by not going for JB!
I wonder where they are now ;D
Personally I hope Hull stay up (I always have) and I think they will, just! I'd swap their position with ours at the moment cos points in the bag are always better especially when in relegation fights.

(our chairman and manager have now just admitted they signed him injured ) fucking twats

I remember reading that, dazednconfuzed! PB had signed him with the injury...i posted on here at the time that PB must think he has healing hands. In all fairness, though, JB may be out for a few games but at least you have advance warning of it. At the moment any one of our lot could have a 'moment of madness' and rule themselves out for 3 follwing a red card

Sorry, dazed...i was referring to the fact that he's scheduled for surgery and so you know he'll be out of action. We start with eleven, and just lately it's anybody's guess who'll still be on the pitch after 89 minutes I'm being a bit harsh on us, really...I reckon Pulis has taken a branding iron to them this last week or so. We can't risk any more suspensions...it's madness

You can't blame JB, as frustrating as it is...he was taken on 'sold as seen'. Phil Brown's devious underhanded evasion of the truth would be winding me right up, tbh! I could find you 10 articles where he categorically played this down....he's a whore and a fraud ;D

I always took the pair of them to be the shy, retiring types who preferred to shun the media spotlight. If it was about ego's then they want fucking, they've just spent someone elses £5M plus £45k -ish a week for the next 4 years on player then risk him in a game which they never looked capable of winning. Madness.

PB seems to be attracted to the camera like a magnet and even did some show on TV whilst in Dubai?!

If we go down (yes we may! and I admit it) then we will go down in history as the ultimate "tale of two halves" team in a season I am sure ..

Its a real shame for JB, I'm sure he was keen to get playing for his new club, really though its up to the clubs staff to make the decision which is in the best interests of both the team and the player, as to whether or not he should have been involved. It would seem neither was given much consideration in this instance from what you say.

As goes managers, Hull have the Paris Hilton/Kerry Katona manager and we seem to have the Gordon Brown/Michael Jackson (i'm sure there are better comparisons) Point being..Pulis leaves us all bewildered with little/cryptic or no explanation as to what's going on and Brown should consider signing Max Clifford as his agent. There must be a middle ground that appeases both media and fans without compromising the club
