I think it's as simple as he doesn't think LL cuts it as a premiership player.
And for what it's worth neither do I. Without his injury I think he'd have found himself dropped by mid October.
Yes TP has his favourites and LL isn't one of them but the decision not to play him is a footballing one.

And Cresswell is a premiership player? That don't make sense, cause Lawrence is twice the player of Cresswell

This rumour comes from a family friend that does work at Stoke, and thats why Cort has also been conspicuous by his absence! having been caught with LL by his missus and that is where the injury occurred!
Not to mention Griffs falling out with Ric! this also comes from the same person, that Griff will be gone soon enough!

Most of this stuff is complete tosh The rumours are just rumours - thats why there are so many of them Cort in bed with Lennie - even more shocking! The fact is that Pulis has always been an admirer of Lawrence and he would certainly be playing if he was fit and able to help the team Lawrence looked off the pace even before the alleged accident and presumably hadn't been looking after himself Macari spelled it out in the Sentinel - no manager would intentionally weaken his team - end of

There are countless examples of managers refusing to pick good players because they don't get on, or playing players out of position to accommodate them, leaving out better players for that job. Plenty of managers over time have played weaker teams than they could have to accommodate their own ego's and pig-headed ideals.

Not as if Macari would ever for instance play his two useless sons is it? First thing Macari did was get rid of Mickey Thomas who has an excellent spell for us before his arrival.

Liam Lawrence first injured hs foot when being substitued in the Chelsea game at The Brit. He had a Fuller moment (i.e spat the proverbial dummy out) and decided to kick the dressing room door in. This hurt his foot initially. The main damage was then done in Manchester (hotel/club/pub/kebab house/knocking shop/Nan's living room wherever) when he fell and damaged the ligaments further. Pulis' biggest gripe was with the dressing room incident and not the Manchester incident. All of which was played down in the press by using an excuse about a dog. The dog has since been named as Mary from Moss Side.

Either I,m missing the point ,or this message board as suddenly become full of future Stoke managers.... Tony Pulis got us up to the premier (albeit because all the other teams were shite ) and hes doing a half decent job of keeping us there, so if he thinks Lawrence isnt good enough to play then its his decision, I personally dont think Lawrence is good enough for the premier on a regular basis, but there again I,m not Mr Pulis ha ha

What you are saying is that managers don't always pick their best footballers - true They pick the players who will make up the best team - in terms of balance and morale etc. look how many times the talented Gallagher got left out of the team 99% of good managers will pick the team that they believe is most likely to pick up the points - their jobs are dependant on those results - so why would they do otherwise O course they have favourites - players who do as they are told will always be at the front of the queue Pulis is a good manager which is why the squad morale is so good Lawrence was one of his favourite players and if Pulis doesn't rate him now then only Lawrence will be to blame for that state of affairs PS - it doesn't mean the manager can't be wrong

If Cresswell gets that right wing slot instead of Lenny then in all honesty, it's sheer bloody lunacy on Pulis's part.
No disrespect to Cresswell, he gives his all, he aint a winger though. To put a Championship standard striker on the right wing instead of your natural number 1 right winger, well it's unthinkable.
If there is another motive in all of this, I pray it is sorted soon because no matter what some say on here whether Liam is good enough or not, he simply must play and if personal opinion counts, I believe Liam IS good enough for this league.
