Sorry if this has already been posted. I have been away for a few days and this bored is too god dam busy to search thro all the posts.
They are giving their shirt sponsor to a local charity for the next couple of seasons just like Barca have done. I think Villa also do it.
Britannia already have their name all over the stadium.
Would it be a good idea OR could it cause a problem for the future. What would happen in 2 years time if we were doing really well in the prem and getting intro Europe. Surely a big sponsor would want their name on our shirt and would be offering big money. Which way would we go then and how would it look changing just for the cash?

Its possibly a good idea. But I think that most people would see it as a transparant PR activity.

Oldam have gone one step further and will be wearing a full pink strip for the leeds game for a cancer charity.
I think this is a good idea as it is only for the one game and have raised as much awarness as haveing a sponser for the whole season which will please the money men at the club.

Thought the same it would be a good gesture from the club to raise national awareness of the Donna Louise Trust, to for one game wear a special kit that would carry their name and/or logo on it then auction the shirts off with the money raised going to the Donna Louise hospice to try and make up some of the shortfall in the budget, that is forcing them to shut some of the rooms at the hospice.
Also if it was for an away game we wouldn't have to wear yellow and blue or even worse yellow and red and we may even have a change of luck and win an away match.
