Yep. If it's in the Club shop I may purchase. (Will ours be in the Aztex' shop? Interestingly - bares a resemblance to the Paraguay one I suggested Stoke might use in an email to Tony Scholes last year.

I sent the same link and suggestion to Tony Scholes myself NNH. Great minds think alike. Obviously Phil was more impressed than the rest of the Stoke top brass. Ihave been scratching my head all day trying to think whose shirt the original one was - now you have jogged my memory!

Fornside- I posted the link on the Oatie board last year and it got a pretty good response if I remember.I wonder if Phil R was lurking at the time Great minds indeed..... ;D

Strange that Puma didn't think of coming up with a Stoke version of the shirt. As Davef points out, some of their offerings were dire.

Better than ours, yep! Just can't believe that ours is the Sheff Utd shirt, still. Blatant laziness.

Greetings from Austin. Sadly, our team doesn't begin play until 2009. We're pumped that you guys are knocking on the door of the Premier League and many of us have adopted Stoke as our English team. BigSoccer.com is the hub of all things American "soccer". We're so special they finally gave us Aztex fans a forum to call home. I made a crude attempt to start a thread with some background on Stoke City FC, but feel free to correct the things I've gotten wrong and call me a wanker. ( I love that). www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=657727

Yes. Yes, that felt OK.

No season till 2009 but pretty sure Stoke are coming over for promotional games in the summer of 2008.
I'm heading down there if they do come, Austin is a beautiful city by all accounts.

Love the kit...it will be a buy for me. I was sad enough to get a bloody Iceland kit when we suffered our invasion. It was a tidy kit too!
