Don't you mean Sean Kelly ;D Apparently he was taking part in full training so looks match fit, hopefully he can play a part.

He’s not still injured but he’s only just come back from injury so I very much doubt he’s match fit. He may get a place on the bench but I’d imagine Sunderland is too soon for him.

I'd like to see him debut, if not for a full 90 minutes. On a side note, just read on Why Delilah that Diao is ready and could feature on Saturday. He reckons he's lost 2 kilos (4 and a half lb in old money ) and he feels much sharper!

If Diao is fit, Diao plays.

It's probably best to let Kelly have a two week break to get back to full fitness rather than risk him aggravating his injury.
Good news about Diao, it would be nice to see him on the bench on Saturday.

I'd like to see that sgt, camara and ethers tearing down the wings and feeding Beatts in the box, would be my prefered formation but who knows with TP

if diao plays, could we see a 5 man midfield with beattie up on his own? camara diao amdy faye whelan etherington That could actually be a good idea. We've not been able to find a style of play away from home and it could cost us dearly. In my opinion, one of the reasons for such poor results has been a lack of options to change systems and tactics. All of a sudden, our January transfer dealings have given us a pacy winger in Etherington, and an out-and-out target man in Beattie, who will offer a genuine goal threat. Add to that Camara, and we've got the option of a pacy front line. So the predictable tactic of men behind the ball with the long ball to Sidibe can now be altered. If you think about Chelsea under Mourinho, we've got the option of 4-1-2-2-1 (or 4-5-1) if Camara can play as a wide forward on the right? we could have Diao and Faye protecting, Whelan to add a little creativity, and the pacy outlet of Etherington and Camara.
