Wilko was at the mich today, He'd had some treatment on his ankle.. He stopped for a bit and watched some of the under 9's and under 11's... had a bit of a chat, i said it wasnt so long along ago he was running round the mich in the freezing cold and in the space of a month he'd faced and owned Ronaldo and Robinho..... he said it was amazing, He added robinho didnt want to know yesterday and he was moaning how cold it was ;D
He also said that after the game TP mentioned the crowd noise and said you cant buy that sort of support and not to let the fans down now against Sunderland....
We had a quick chat about how my car was faster than his ;D then he nearly took out a fence post as he drove off.. ;D ;D
I did ask about signings but he said he's in the dark as much as us.

the epitomy of this squad. He has obvious limitations but his passion and his endeavour make a real asset to the squad. A top lad too. Keep it up Wilko

Agreed, this seasons experience has seen him improve 100% as a player and theres no reason he cant establish himself in the prem, once we sort out those all to frequent rushes of blood.
Keep up the good work son.

I owe Wilko an apology. Slagged him off after the first 10 mins as he sliced a few into the JS stand saying he aint of this level.
For the next 85 mins, Robinhio was in his pocket.
Not necessarily loaded with ability but did well yesterday through true grit and spirit. Has learnt over previous matches the downsides of diving in and tryin to break everyone's legs in each tackle.
Well done Wilko

His best work yesterday was clearing the ball from our penalty area. He was forever getting his head or foot to the ball.

Wilko is a real rough diamond, with the right coaching he will do well. If he learns to use his head a bit more - like Griffin does - he will be an excellent player. His distribution and positioning lets him down, Griff uses his positioning to make up for an obvious lack of pace and if Wilko can learn that then he'll be a great FB.

Solid gold, will only get better with experience. Could do with a good mentor, lie Abdy with Shawcross.

Im quite suprised by Wilko, I though if anyone was going to do the buisness like he has done it would have been Dicko, Hats off to the lad.

I really hope he becomes a top class player (for us). A rough diamond who could hopefully become one of the best right backs england has.

i always thought, if any of the two, dicko would od better but wilko has stepped up and imo is prem class. A LB needed more than RB i think.

He's good when it's an Alamo job at the back - when teams break against us he gets pulled out of position too easily. However, he might improve this aspect (and passing) with experience - it's nice to see him doing so well and getting a run in the team.
