For me, Shawcross and Abdy are turning into a formidable pair that, fitness permitting, should not be separated.
We all knew how good Abdy has been since day one, and really has not disappointed me all season. He, along with Sorro, has been one of the best ever buys for our club.
But Ryan has grown leaps and bounds this season. watching the game yesterday sent shivers down my spine on many occaisions, but none more so, than seeing Shawcross, a 21-year old lets not forget, leading the defence, shouting and encouraging his team. That combined with Abdy's tremendous (and often terrifying) presence, was key to earning those valuable three points yesterday.
Are team spirit is immense. and that, along with us, will keep us up this season. We've waited too long for top-flight football to let it be taken away from us!
GOAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRNNNNNN STOKE!!! ;D

I really do think Shawcross will play for England one day.. he has 3 fantastic and experianced CB's at the club in Abdy, Higgy and Davies (lets not forget) .. Faye has proved brilliant like you say and is the best CB ive, personally, ever seen at Stoke.. PS. Think he is still 20, either way he will keep getting better for a few years to come.

the only thing he needs now is a goal at the other end like he did last season!!!

Ryan is the most inexperienced player in the team yet looks the most mature. He simply must play for England in the future

shawcross will be captain one day
he should play for england but would be very surprised if he ever did whilst at stoke
just to think there was people saying let him go in august
think we are gonna really struggle to keep either of them even if we stay up

He will get a goal soon.
Loved the way in the second half how he bust a gut to get back in line after pushing forward.
Pulis may of done the right thing dropping him earlier in the season.

Abdy has been the mentor the lad could've had! Watching him alongside Bellamy yesterday was a pure comedy moment...Bellamy looked like he was on his knees next to Shawcross!

After the sending off yeaterday, Shawcross was one of the loudest voices at the back, rallying the players and calming them down. Looks experienced beyond his years. I just pray we can keep hold of him till the end of his career!

Got to agree with everything said, Both players are proving to be invaluable to us. I also believe Shawcross could go onto bigger and better things, I just hope it isnt too soon.

Eddy. The improvement in Shawcross is down to the fantastic example set by Abdy and Tommy, experienced players with good attitude. Now we have in Beattie a similar influence at the other end of the field
