A much, much needed win today. Could be a turning point in our season having won in the face of adversity like that.
Stars of the show were obviously Beattie, Ethers, Shawcross, Faye, but I would love to know how many kilometres Whelan covered for us during the game, the guy never stopped running.
Also I think the crowd contributed massively today, especially from the period after the sending off to half time. The whisltling and booing really got under up the City player's noses and helped Stoke regain their composure.
One very sad point for me though was a guy in the row behind me shouting racist remarks at the Man City players. I'm talking the lowest of the low here and in front of what appeared to be his son as well. I'm strongly minded to write to the club about this guy as he's a season ticket holder and I know his seat number. Not sure what stance the club takes on this kind of thing.
Hopefully we can pick up a creative centre midfielder before deadline day (and full-back?)

I quite agree with you.
Cartwright do you think we might be related as we are the only two people in the world with the surname '4'.

that's what's so ridiculous. It was real angry vitriolic abise. Quite unsettling. I though we were past those dark ages.
