Spoke to my dad after the game. he was in the garden (a good 2 miles away) and heard the roar thinking we had scored or the ref had blown early!
it was fantastic to witness the whole ground getting behind the lads in that way. I am sure it helped them get through the last bit of the game. it even brought a tear to my eye!!!!!
COME ON STOKE!!!!!

5554 the players aren't stupid mate I think they could understand that we wouldn't be booing them after just putting us ahead in the last minute of the half.

5554 i think it might have given the game away as to who we were booing when it only happened as a man. city player touched the ball and stopped when a stoke player had it .
personally i loved it and it helped us win the game . the only time I've heard of or seen (on t.v. ) of an atmosphere as intimidating as that is in south America . maybe the man.city players thought they were there and were waiting for the opposition fans to come on chasing them across the pitch .

I have never in 34 years of supporting the mighty potters heard a roar like it , it was a true rallying cry in the face of adversity, proper we are up against it , but we dont care we are going to stop you at all costs, We are the BEST supporters in the land! That match was won by . the team obviously, and the support which was 1st class! Brought a tear to my eye ,

That bloke with the mic should have recorded the roar then instead of a manufactured one ten minutes before kick off.It would have gone off the scale.
