Apparently the grass was longer today. A friend of mine had a stadium tour this morning, and when told about the grass she asked why? "To slow Robinho down" she was told. To which she asked... "But dosnt it slow everybody else down as well??" Groundsman had no answer...

Is there a Premier League standrad for grass length.
I hope we haven't broken any Leadgue rules and we'll have the 3 (THREE) points deducted ;D

Alex the Red Nose always whines about long grass, and it's a standard tactic. Many times during post match interviews if you listen carefully you will hear the mowers out! Oh, and not just at Stoke!

He complained about it after that pre-season friendly where we thrashed them a few years back.

Some teams over or under inflate the match ball. Others make parts of the pitch uneven. I remember Cambridge had long grass in some areas and bumpy sand in others. Its all part of the game.
However, these superstars should have to put up with the pitches us amateurs play on with dog muck and sharp shards.

I know he's small but he definately was on the pitch and was completely ineffective other than getting Rory sent off. Mind you Rory should have done better with his last touch and got him in the bollox so hed deserved to get red.
