After the dissapointment of results of late im feeling a bit more confident.
Just looking through everybody fixtures with a few unbiased mates.
Cant see Newcastle,Baggies or Boro getting more than 13 points.
B,Burn also have hard fixtures.
I think 38-39 points will keep you up maybe less if they other teams involved start drawing.
I think we can win 5 games and draw a couple away which will be enough.
Its definitely time for Beattie and Fuller up front at home and hopefully Ethers and Lawrence wide.
Maybe move Rory inside or to fullback.
we can do it.

Someone has to go down.
It might be us, it might not.
Good chance it will be, doesn't make it definite.
I think some people need to accept that it could be us though.

I know what your saying but im confident we can get the home points although i would take a draw saturday now.
Im pissed off with Pulis,s tacticts away but its not going to change now.
if the fans stay with the team we can pick up five wins at home.

We will stay up. Loads of people said we fucked it last season when we went off the boil about this time and we still made it. As has been said there are a few teams worse off than us fixture wise. Good positive post for a change. ;D
P.s. Pulis did say that we need to change our game away from home so here's hoping.

i think the best bit of news for us is that injuries to Barton & Owen for Newcastle. Looking at their fixture list they will struggle to get enough points to stay up, listening to Kinnear moaning that their struggling to pay the wage bill and can't sign players fills me with confidence too.
Im going to stick my neck on the line and say West Brom and Newcastle will both finish in the bottom 3

Come on.... We knew before the season started that we could well be where we are and as it happens we are!!
So lets do exactly what was planned before the season started and fight for our lives as relegation candidates trying to stay up.
We knew this was the way the season was going to end, I just hope we don't have to go to Arse and win to stay up.

When the fixtures first came out i feared we could have been well and truely shafted by the end of January, and despite the doom and gloom in recent times we have done reasonably well to get 21 points. Now is the time to kick on, if we can just get one elusive win from somewhere in the next two-three weeks bring some re-inforcements in we stand a 50-50 chance. I for one, would have settled for that last May.

I think it's three from the promoted clubs, Boro, Newcastle and Pompey.

Personally i reckon that as long as we finish with more points than three other teams we'll be ok!

There is no evidence on current form for any optimism about avoiding the drop! We were pathetic on Tuesday at Spurs, so there has to be an almighty improvement to beat any other team except WBA during the rest of the season ,and I don't know where it's coming from unless TP brings us an exciting midfield playmaker from somewhere. Don't hold your breath! He's looking at defenders again!

Pulis has written away games off, so I think we'll have to.
Any resemblance to attempting to win a game away from home is purely coincidental.
