Beattie. Its apparent that Beattie and Etherington seem to be working well together, even after just 2 games. we know from a few times this season and many last season that Lawrence works well with Fuller. Nothing liek having your own "feed" man to get the ball to you, what a foursome they can be. Just add someone good between Lawrence and Etherington, 1 attacking midfielder and one holding and we would be doing ok !!! ;D well, in a perfect world that is

if we we're to start LL & Matty then Delap would get to go to his best position of CM, with someone creative next to him then we'd be quality, but sadly, i don't see us starting Matty & Liam much together, its too attacking for Tone

Pulis needs to sort out the stubborness first and play Lawrence, then we can see how well Liam and Fuller can play.

Would be great fromafar but i think we're all getting the feeling the only way we'll see that is if we need to win something like 6 from the last 8 apart from that he's just way too defensive.
Let's all hope he proves us wrong on Saturday or at the very least after them. Wins are getting more and more important and eventually he MUST realise we've got to be more adventurous if we're going to get enough. Adventurous with Cresswell, Diao & Faye involved just isn't possible no matter how well the others perform.

I hope Pulis has learnt a lesson from Friday....if you attack the opposition it gives you a better chance to win a game instead of sitting back and inviting pressure like we did in the first half.
Im not begging Pulis to play a 4-3-3 as we know he wouldn't but at least have a bit of an attack minded side FFS, Citeh are shit away from home so we really need to win this one.
Pulis....not that it makes any difference what I think but may I suggest this too you?
Sorensen
Wilko Ab.Faye if not Higgy Shawcross Griff
Lawrence Faye Whelan Etherington
BEATTIE! FULLER!
NOT BLOODY CRESSWELL!!. This team is of course in the very unlikely event that a new face has arrived before Saturday.
I hate being angry.

I dont see the problem with playing Lawrence even when you go defensive. He usually provides the full back with good cover and no-one can 'put in a shift' like our Liam. It's just a case of getting him fit which will never happen if he doesn't play.

I agree we should defo play Lawreance and Etherington they both track back and have bags of energy. I also agree that Beattie has been playing well with Etherington and we know Fuller and Lawrence play well together and if we do have to play Delap then stick him in the centre, I don't think he'll do a bad job but if he looks out of it then change it for Amdy as we ain't getting the same success with the long throws anyway.
-------------------Soro------------------- Griff---Shawcross---AB-Faye---Higg Lawrence--Delap----Whelan--Ether --------Fuller----------Beattie----------
I believe we could put alot of teams under pressure with this line up.

i realize Lawrence is not 100% fit, maybe Fuller too, but we need him (them) on at the start to make a difference not with 20 minutes left to get goals needed to equalize !! WE NEED A WIN OR 2

Come on, don't forget our manager played 7 yes fookin 7 defensive minded players (plus no goals mama) at QPR when we needed to score more than Southampton to reach the play offs on the last day of the season couple of years ago.
It would be nice and I would be shocked if it happened, but is this one trick pony going to try anything different? I hope so but we've seen enough of it over the yaers to know it aint gonna happen

Too late, you said Friday! Is something happening tomorrow? What do you mean by lesson? You probably know something we don't. Please tell us NOW. Learning... about transfers? New signing tomorrow, is that what you are suggesting? Finally player from abroad perhaps, Pulis has learned how to sign them? I'm waiting for your response.
