I'm miserable after watching that last night, so here is a bit of fun.
Just predict how many points you think we will get each month given the fixtures left, and what your grand total will be (and whether you think it will be enough.

Sept 1pt from 9
Oct 6pts from 12
Nov 7pts from 15
Dec 2pts from 15
Jan 4pts from 12
So, in the remainder:
Feb
Sunderland (a)

Just a points total for each month, and a predicted total come the end of the season, plus whether you think it will be enough?

Gives me a predicted total of 40 points
To be entirely honest I don't think it will be enough - think we will need at least 45.
Still, looking at the table, any one of 10 teams can still go down, but we don't want to get to the last game needing something at Arsenal
(although would you take that now!! :-) would be a great time to get a first away win!)

Added onto our current 21 points that gives us 43 points, and i think it'll be enough to see us finish 16th-17th.

Gives me a predicted total of 43 points - still not sure that is enough

i did the predictor and came up with 38 points but that was still enough with Brazil, Pompey and Borough below us  |

I've got us at 42 pts aswell which will put us right in the mix and i think it would be enough. I'd take that now quite happily and see what happens.

i think 40 or above will easily see us clear of any scrapping, everyone else have still got the bigger teams as well as each other to face. 35-36 will be worrying but 40 will be fine i reckon

We're on 24 points now, add to that wins against Slumberland, Portsmouth, Bolton, Middlesborough, Newcastle and Blackburn, coupled with draws against Brazil, Wet Sham and Dull, gives us 45 points - plenty for survival this season IMHO.
