hope u all got home safetly after the game 1st off all and not come on to gloat. but got to admit u were very poor especially in the 1st half.
2nd half we seemed to sit back ( yet again ) and after beattie scored i thought ( here we go again ) but in the end i was happy with the result and we should now push on and move up the table ( hopefully ). hopefully stoke will push on and move up the table but i think u are in a dogfight with west brom pompey who seem to be in freefall and maybe boro
your support ( 1900 ) for a tuesday night in january and with the current financial climate was great BUT didn't seem that vocal. heard delilah i think once and we are stoke but cant seem to remember much more.
dont go on about our support i know its shite
anyway good luck for the rest of the season. ps didn't see any stokies in hamilton hall although i was only in there 20 minutes just after 4pm and left at 4.25.

"Didn't seem that vocal" - garbage, we were all doing the conga in the aisles and generally having a right old fun time/ sing song that reached a peak after about 25 minutes.

'didn't seem that vocal'
How many teams supporters are 'vocal' after seeing their team capitulate in 25 minutes !!!!!
As it happend (and I know you were 3 up) I thought you made more noise than most home fans this season

TBH I thought the fans behind the goal at our end were pretty vocal with some good banter. The ones down the side to our left though were about the quietest I think I've ever seen - they didn't so much as look towards the away fans all game. That said, given the attitude of the stewards (who were unbelievably heavy handed) I'm not really surprised!

Pretty accurate that Ackney, although I think that apart from the 20 odd minutes we crumbled, we were quite noisy, but in a take the piss out of the fans near us and your managers obvious twitch kind of way! ;D One quick note on last nights stewards. Pretty over the top really, and what does that idiot think he's trying to achieve by waving his arms about and getting a whole end to sit down at the front of the South stand?! Also in a very childish way flicked the V's behind his back when giving him some banter, then had the nerve to come in the bottom few rows of the bottom tier to point out Stoke fans apparently using hand gestures!! Hope his arms are really hurting this morning!

the spurs lot in the lower tier next to us were fairly noisy and well up for the banter, I think they really supported the team. What did piss me off was that bloke who kept telling em all to sit down, whats that all about, he seemed a complete and utter cock ! it was like a childish cat and mouse game, people up and down in their seats while he's not looking, clapping him for coming over? singing his name? tell him to f off ! he was killing my enjoyment of the game, I think if I were on the front row I'd not be happy.
You were right about the traffic by the way, jesus christ don't think I'll drive to the Lane again!

last night we were awesome!!! Wilko had a cracking first 20 mins and to be fair that Beattie miss right at the start was virtually impossible to put away. Our midfield were tight and kept Modric out of the game and Lennon and Defoe might as well have not turned up! Pure quality!!! (thought i'd try and make a change from all the other moaners on 'ere today ) BTW fair play ackney...i believe the word is "Outclassed" (that's the one my Spurs fan brother used when he rang me after the game anyway )

I used to live in Walthamstow so know the area well
Was shocked how much it has continued to go downhill - What a shithole Tottenham is
I imagine that 80% of Spurs fans dont live near WHL anymore ??

Don't think there are many Spurs fans in Edmonton anymore...they moved out of the area years ago... Good to see Ackney on ere..I didn't go last night but I watched the game...yet again Modric was outstanding..I think he's the best player I've seen all season..people bang on about Lampard but for me, Modric is better.. Anyway..we were outclassed last night by (on paper) a far superior team..chock full of quality.. And as far as Tottenhams support is concerned..they did take 5,000 to Boro earlier in the season when they were bottom of the league.. Fair play to them and owd 'Ackney...

Spurs were a much different proposition to the side that came to the Brit. 'arry would know that pace and movement would be our undoing...and it was. Seems Mr Redknapp likes to play people in their correct positions and let them get on with it...what a refreshing change, and maybe a 'hint' for our manager? 'ackney, managed to get parked up off Gloucester Rd and a couple of bevvies in Irish Club, thanks for the tips.

Didn't get in until 35 minutes into the first half and that was only due to begging the traffic police to let the bus reserse out. We were 3-0 down by the time I got to my seat, so in my view we won 1-0
