Everyone calling for Cressie to leave just think about it, it isn't this fault he hasn't got the ability, he doesn't pick himself in the team. The bloke is obvioulsy not a prem player but he gets played by the manager and gives 100% for the team.
This isn't a Pulis out rant, far from it, but he is the manager and he picks the team, Cressie isn't gonna turn round to TP and say "No, I'm not good enough for the premiership i should be left out" he will get on the pitch and play to the best of his abiity, whether that is good enough is Pulis' concern.

Yes, and get 20K a week for his troubles!

Would you turn that down if it was offered?

1. If it isn't his fault he hasn't got the ability, whose is it? 2. Yes, the manager picks him, and he gets appearance bonus so he's going to play his bag off isn't he? 3. No I wouldn't turn it down if offered - he earns more in a week than I do in a year. 4. Potters 22 - if your arse is worth 20K I'd use it as your avatar! 4. All I'm saying is Richard Cresswell's 100% isn't worth what he's paid. (But then that applies to most footballers). Should I feel sorry for the bloke for being selected?

One word.... Scapegoat!
I fail to see how Cresswell contributed to the 3 sloppy goals we conceded this evening. People are just looking for someone to blame..... People banging on about Fuller, saying he should have started and maybe so, we've missed him these 3 matches, but it was his fault he got sent off, though no one his blaming him for that.

This is what I'm saying, Cresswell isn't good enough and he isn't worth what he is paid but someone is paying his wages so surely it's their fault rahter than his for accepting 20k a week or whatever he is on?? ???

I don't think he's being used as a scapegoat - Whelan, Wilko and even a flu ridden Aby Faye have come in for some stick tonight as well. Agree with you about Fuller. P.S. Just seen Beattie's goal - good old fashion striker's finish.

Cresswell has been a scapegoat for a few weeks now, despite having an excellent game against the scousers. I didn't mean just tonight, he's just trying to do his bit for the team, I know that's not good enough, but it's not his fault, HE does not pick the team.
