Let's look at the money Pulis has spent Kitson, Soares, Tongue, Olifinjana, Davies. Probably around £12 MILLION who havn't even got on the pitch tonight.
Surely if your Coatsy you ask " Tone, why have spent the cash on these players ? "
Perhaps, as well, we might have a plan B, i.e. we actually go out to close sides down and play 2 strikers and try and win a bloody game.
By the way I AM a proper Stokie, WHO CARES, but I am entitled to my opinion.

It's a difficult one. On the one hand I think we struggled to attract players at first because of concerns we'd "do a Derby". The fact that January seems to have brought a better quality standard to the club seems to support this.
On the other hand, there's no doubt we've panicked our tits off on some right shit for a fair amount of money.

Your point is taken but the truth is we needed to beef up the squad anyway. What we couldn't do is beef up the squad with 8 X 15 million pound players on 80k a week.

Beattie and Etherington seem like they're worth the money.
I'd LOVE to see Dave Kitson hit a run of form too.
Ab Faye has been good value too.

Alan, we can't afford to spend 15 mill on individual players, however, we HAVE SPENT NEARLY 15 MILL ON PLAYERS WHO ARN'T PLAYING

not really a dig...but 90% of our transfer budged has so far been spent on defending a 0-0 draw. If he gets another £20 how many defensive players would he buy???? Sometimes Tone we conceed goals simply because we dont have the quality up the pitch to take the pressure off our back 4. I know how hard it is and i know if we are going to sign good players we need to bring a few average ones in first

That list is scary. Still I suppose they'll come in useful next season when we've had to sell the others to recoup some of the money.
