Despite all the' new money', poor Man City cannot buy the affections of a boy for rent from Brazil-they should have consulted a well known Labour Lord for advice.
I cannot blame Kaka for wanting to stay put.It would be so difficult to have to live up to all the hype.
If the average Premiership player was worth 10 million, would Kaka be a footballer ten times better than the average? It was an almost impossible situation.Whilst he probably would make a difference to the club, the fee would almost confer a sense of disappointment and predetermined failure. Who would want the hassle?
Now, Man City, with all their Arab wealth have decided to get their vitamin D on one of the Isle of Dogs (This week av. temp. about 18-19'C)- perhaps Kaka thought this was too much like going to Blackpool?
