for Greaseball? More Importantly, would Greaseball turn down £500'000 per week JJB Sports in Hanley would be busier than ever with people taking their Man Utd shirts back for an exchange. ;D i can see it happening, fergie will be spitting feathers for unsettling his players and Rafa would be loving it

lol, I think Man U would say no - they're one of the very few very highly leveraged European companies that aren't shitting the bed at the moment. And as you quite rightly point out, the amount they could lose on shirt sales/competition winnings/sponsorship revenue (losses here perhaps due to a lower profile) could weaken the business long term.
I hate to say it, but who the fk does greaseball think he is, trying to walk away from Man U? The only team I'd ever leave them for is Stoke. It's not like he's pining for a return to the Madeira Wanderers is it?

Oh Knowlsey don't piss on my chips mate! I could have sworn Wiki had him 0 goals 0 games?! In fact if you look at Wiki now it seems they have put his correct Serie A record in, of 47 goals in 32 games Also, he's not happy at our lack of ambition in the transfer market!

I would drop down dead in amazement if Ronaldo got sold to Man City. no matter how greedy the Glazers are. There would be riots outside the ground and you can bet that old red nose would have something to say about it...

Away from football, Vince is a gifted artist, and regularly sells his artwork outside the Britannia Stadium on matchdays to supplement his meagre wages. His magnum opus, "Squashed coke can in the gutter", is to be auctioned at famous London auction house Sotheby's on 14th February 2009. It is reported that Russian billionnaire and football enthusiast Roman Abramovich is set to bid up to £21m for the art. He may be thwarted in his bid by fellow football enthusiast Sheikh al-Mansour, recent acquirer of Manchester City, who was quoted by the Manchester Evening News as saying "such a masterpiece is worth at least £107m". Vince's attempts to offer his footballing services to either man for free as part of the sale were blocked by Sotheby's, who are keen to maintain the original high value estimates of the work.

I would like to be the first to thank Periwinkle for what can only be described as a highly productive stint at Stoke, and I want to wish him well in what looks like a very lucrative career as a world class artist. If he does indeed get the opportunity to partner Kaka at Man Citeh then good luck to him, it will definitley mean that Kaka will earn every penny of his ridiculous wages if the deal of the century goes through. Kaka & Pericard it's a match made in heaven
