THERE'S ONLY ONE NELLO! Thank God. And I say that in the nicest possible way. What a great character he is. He get's around Tel's almost every day and I get to hear of his escapades. I believe he went off abroad to do a clown act last year. And it didn't cost him a penny. It never does. He gets Tel to take his washing to the launderette for him and he doesn't even pay for that. ;D Those were the days eh. How could you not enjoy the days of him and Lou? I still laugh when I remember him coming on against Villa. Supporting Stoke is not all about the nogger. There are some memories that transcend it. Nello is one of them. Gooooaaarrrnnn Nello! OS.

LOL. What's the betting he will get more illustrious turn out than Sir Stan did? He knows everybody. And I mean EVERYBODY! Lou will help I'll bet. If I'm in the UK at the time, I wouldn't miss it for a King's ransome.
OS.

lol, this is the appreciation society to end all appreciation societies! Remember the chicken suit! Nello is a hero, I remember being about ten and they held some post-match event at the Vic where players were signing everything, Nello was standing off to the side but was getting mobbed by all these kids for his autograph

Count me in! A true legend and first met him whilst working as a volunteer at the Theatre Royal in Hanley.
There is a Facebook group as well for Nello for anyone on FB.

Nello is a legend.
I sometimes play for his Keele football team which he as modestly called "The Neil Baldwin Association" (NBA). He gets us games all over the country somehow! He even managed to get Tim Flowers down to see us a few months ago. On the bus on the way down to London he was telling me all about his life and who he knows, he's had a really interesting life. Unfortunately half of the team don't believe his stories, such as he has got some big names turning up for his 50th year at Keele.
It would be good if quite a few Stoke fans could attend this event.
Nello is a top bloke.

Remember playing against his Keele team in the 90s and he called me a dirty little bastard! So I told him to F. off. Manager then took me off cos Nello was raging at the ref saying I should be sent off and the ref was beginning to agree with him! Still won 5-0 so
