Although there have been tenuous links with us in the press having an interest in Bullard, there really hasn't been anything concrete that has surfaced to suggest that we actually are looking at him.
And with West Ham's now apparent interest in Ledley, if the lad does decide not to come to Stoke after all, does anybody have any ideas who we realistically could/should be looking at who can take control at the heart of our midfield?

Ide still like to see Henri Camara on the wing, and draft Lawrence into the centre.

Yeah, don't understand the Camara on the wing and Lawrence in the middle thought. Finally, we have a proper left winger who will be excellently complemented by Lawrence when he is fit.
My midfield?
Lawrence - Am. Faye - Delap - Etherington
With Diao, Whelan and, of course, Cresswell as back up, that's not too bad.
As for other options, how about Rodrigo at Man Utd?

Tricky one. Hard to know high high we could aim, or how much money we really have available?
How much would Huddlestone cost? Doesn't seem to have a regular Spurs place, and Redknapp's trying to sign another CM today, isn't he?
I don't suppose Reading would let James Harper go? Weren't we linked with him over the summer?
Brown from Wigan? He's a niggly little sod. Getting on a bit though.

One can't help but laugh every ime Bullard is mentioned, and that some people actually think that he would even entertain the idea of coming to Stoke at this present time.

It'd probably have been more appropriate to put that comment on a thread about Bullard coming to Stoke rather than on one about him NOT coming here chap.

Tone wont sign Bullard anyway as he'll sound too 'west country' when he says Bullaaaaarrrrrrddd work aaaaaarrrrrrrddd today in a post match interview ;D

If it was a straight choice between him and Ledley, then it would be a no brainer for me, but could we attract him? Surely it would be harder to entice him here than Bullard. I didn't realise he was out of favour with Redknapp. It's a really interesting shout, he is EXACTLY the sort of player we need, but probably at the very, very top end (if not beyond) of the range of players we could be thinking about.

Huddlestone isn't out of favour I think he's injured. I think we have to hope he stays that way !!
