as much as i love that man, he has done his magical bit for us this season and the stage is set up for fuller and beattie to get the goals that will save us.

I don't think TP is gonna start Fuller much now, he will be used as a impact player from the bench, it will either be Beatts/Kitson or Beatts/Mama

I think Tony will stick with Cresswell for the Tottenham game ...expect to see Fuller and Kitson to be on the bench...sad but true

Beattie and Fuller is definitely the way to go IMO.
I feel sorry for everyone involved in the Kitson deal, but his face doesn't fit, and I think he'll be a bit-part player.
Assuming we're going to play a slightly more varied game with Etherington in the ranks, I don't think Mama justifies a place when we've got the option of 2 class Premier League acts like Beattie and Fuller.
Could be interesting if we buy another striker though.
I'd be disappointed if Cresswell got another start this season.

I'm not saying as that is necessarily the right choice, but the Pulis mind works in mysterious ways. It's one thing playing him against Chelsea when the only other striker available is a half-fit, unsettled Kitson, but an entirely different matter when played ahead of Fuller. Still, we wait and see.

im pretty sure cressy will start, which is a shame because im pretty much convinced that beattie and fuller would be able to really hurt a dodgy spurs backline.
i cant see beattie and fuller ever starting together away from home as neither can be played in the deep lying, extra midfielder role when we havent got the ball.
a shame really, because if those two were to start at spurs id be pretty confident of us getting all three points, in a game where we really could do with them!

Whilst Fuller doesn't cover the same kind of ground Cres does (very few get close) his ability to run with the ball shouldn't be undervalued when we foresee we're going to be defending for long periods.
Running with the ball and going by players, like Ric does, relieves pressure on the defence and allows us to move up. Coupled with the fact he's a constant menace, and teams always have to be wary of him when piling players forward, he'd always play for mine. Pulis has his own ideas, mind.

Beattie spent most of the game yesterday in the Mama role. I was surprised, but it gives us the option of playing him there in future.

fuller and beattie upfront for me. cresswell will be etheringtons sub. kitson will come on and have 3 strikers up front if we are chasing the game. tottenham is a must must must win game. actually thinking about it i might be worth having thre upfront and going at tottenham straight away like we used to in chamoionship. get a goal or 2 and then shut the doors and get hard workers like cresswell and pugh on

GOT to be the front pairing from now on, those two against any team will cause havoc pure class pairing in my opinion for us. You would be a fool not to play these two together at some point in the very near future

IlfordDave was convinced this morning that Fuller will never play for Stoke again. I didn't say "will never play" just that he would be sold, IF any one will take him off our hands...... but only if we sign another striker, something we are rumoured to still be after

Who Tone plays up front at Spurs will give an indication as to whether he is learning the lesson that camping out in our own penalty area, which we have done in every away game this season, does not ultimately work, even allowing for defensive heroics. Our away record is truly shocking and, if it does not change, we will go down because of it.
We have to have more threat going forward away from home now we are into a run of games against lower table teams - ergo, Beattie and Fuller simply have to start.

I'm sure it'll be Cresswell and beattie with fuller and Kitson on the bench. either way it looks alot healthier than a few games back when we were using pericard!!!
