JBA. Good point that, RE Mama. That is what we were lacking, someone to keep the ball. We gave away possession so easily. Can't judge on anything but Radio Stoke commentary, but 9 for Pulis. Was amazed that he played Cresser before Kitson, and can only assume he had a good reason. Having said that, listening to the game, Cresser certainly put a shift in and didn't let anyone down.

8.
lancer, moving Cressie may well have cost us the game. He gets some stick on here but his workrate is second to none. Moving him at that crucial time was not a good thing to do IMHO.
OS.

7 - no more than this for a loss. Very little to say that is negative at all, we did most stuff well. Sat too deep for me on occasions, but we were playing against a very good side. Bringing Pugh on was a questionable decision for me, and as he gave the ball away for the equaliser, I'll stick with that.
If we play like that in all of our remaining games, we will stay up.

OS, True re Cressy. I was not criticising him, quite the opposite. As you say, moving him did seem to make him less effective, but the whole pointof my post was in fact to express my surprise at how effective he actually was as opposed to Kitson. I have never been Cressy's biggest fan, usually being a bit ambivilent when talking about him, but have always given him credit for his output. I in no way blame him for todays outcome.

PULIS OUT PS It's results you want not performances .... well how come you weren't even happy with Pulis last season then. I'm finished with you now, you're a moron and i don't know why i even bother.

7, would have got more if he had put fresh legs on. A fit midfielder in Lawrence sitting on the bench and he moves a knackered Cresswell into a midfield (defending position) should have left Cresswell where he was and brought Lawrence on.
A brave show by the lads let down IMO by this incessant use of Cresswell at left midfield
