Which one is better for starters? I prefer adobe photoshop cs3 but arent that good at making logos. Can anyone help me out wid brushes and how to create really good effects? Cheers in advance. BBBB

Maybe worth putting in general discussions mate. I just had a logo done for me for £150 all in from logodepot.co.uk, easier and cheaper than doing it meself

You could keep it simple by just typing in your name or importing in your image and then experimenting with the filters - Artistic, distort and sketch are good ones to try. (Just go to step backward in the edit menu if you don't like the image).

www.gimp.org/ this is supposed to be a good one but i havent used it as i have corel draw and corel photo paint but you wont want to use that as it costs between £250-£350 hope the link helps

Adobe Illustrator is the better prog for logo work.
