Friends lad passed his test a couple of months back and thought he knew it all, from speeding and overtaking, texting and tail gating, even had a dvd player on the dash and trendy go- faster wheels and sexy under lights..........................
His funeral was last Monday.
Take it easy, eh.

Took me four efforts. 2 minors- 1 major (nudged the kerb on a parallel park) 3 minors in the same category (didn't appear to be looking around enough on a roundabout/ whilst doing a three point turn) 0 majors 0 minors- 1 major (nudged the kerb on a parallel park AGAIN) 0 minors 0 majors. It really pissed me off at the time because I do think I'm quite a good driver for my age (very defensive, I'm confident but I'm aware of the risks as opposed to "I am it" boy fucking foglight racers), and I am actually very good at manouevres, and to fail twice on a parallel park was gutting. Not as gutting as the "observation" failures though, because that really is a stupid thing to fail on, and very harsh as well, I thought. Chin up though lad, keep confident! And if you pass and drive around with your foglights on in perfect conditions, I'll kill you.

I'm a wank driver and I passed first time. I think it's more luck than ho good you are on the day, I really do.
But likeLew said, you don't start to learn until you pass, and you are driving on your own, there are so many dickheads on the road, and muppet old people who drive so slow it's dangerous, especially on roundabouts

unlucky mate. ive got mine on monday and im shitting it know need to be, just drive how you would when your with your instructor, I have just failed mine for the first time today, got 5 minors, 3 in the same catergory though for not driving fast enough on single carrigeway (national speed limit, didnt see the sign, oops lol). Im not really bothered that i have failed, just got to wait 3 weeks for another test, that is what is annoying

Passed on my 5th If you take it at Newcastle, im sure some would agree that its the luck of the draw on the examiner ( and sometimes even his mood ) to whether you pass or not. Some are harsher than others, but then again maybe im just bitter Good luck!

The corners around cobridge are nasty, almost no room for error. The bloke who passed me was a Manu fan. (he had failed me twice previously though )

Fegg Hayes is the capital of the Cultural Quarter....Chell heath is just a commuting suburb.
