LIAM LAWRENCE reckons Chelsea are vulnerable at set-pieces — and warned them to expect a Stoke bombardment at Stamford Bridge tomorrow. The Potters winger, 27, said: “We will work on set-pieces over the next day or so and, hopefully, we can go there and get something. “We will keep putting it in the box and testing them. We have a powerful side and work a lot on set-pieces. “Some teams look at it and, although they are not scared, they are wary of us. “Chelsea seem to be a bit weak on set-pieces. I saw them against Southend on Wednesday, who scored from a good set-piece. “It was a bit surprising to see how they were marking. That Southend goal looked relatively easy when he went up for it. “We’ll work on that and see if we can score another.” Chelsea have conceded nine out of their last 12 goals from set-pieces, while Tony Pulis’ Stoke are renowned for their aerial power. The Potters were expected to be adrift at the bottom of the table but Lawrence, fit again after a three-month absence with a knee injury, is not surprised to see them make a fight of it. He added: “Everyone wrote us off from the word go but we are causing teams problems. Hopefully this weekend we can raise a few eyebrows as well.” www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article2136842.ece
