It would make certain decisions so much more acceptable if more referees came out in the media and said sorry or explained their mistakes. www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,2483_4793394,00.html

To be fair, It wasn't a mistake as such...Not like giving a penalty that wasn't a penaly or Stuart Atwell 'phantom goal' he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, it wasn;t his mistake...it was unfortunate than a mistake.

Ahh, but he's also apologised for not giving a penalty to Birmingham in the first half. He didn't have to say anything about that.

hes a really good ref to be fair and yes they should comment in the media after games more not that we want them to become celebrities or anything like Styles wants to be but would be nice sometimes for them to explain some of there actions!

I can never fathom that people cannot accept that referees are often going to get it wrong, it just can't be helped. It is silly to watch an incident in slow-mo from six different angles and then declare the ref is a twat.
It's a case of if you think you can do better.

Every one is in the same boat anyway, Like that idiot Tango man moaning the other day about a decision that went against hull and lead to a goal. Then next day i hear a Hull fan on the radio saying how he was now looking over his shoulders and worried now, and Hull did not even have a single shot in said game

To be honest Knowles, I didn't read the article, I just assumed what it was about as I heard a snippet about it on SSN earlier, If he's apologised for the penalty decision too then fair play...Like already said, He's a very good referee!
