Thought i might go 3 kings as well, watch a bit of the early kick off game (if there is one) and it's pretty near to the ground. Only one real ale on though unfortunately (brains gold)

3 Kings, then walk down North End road (only takes 5 mins & the road traffic will be really busy) then stop in Goose pub (on North End road just past Lilly Road crossing) its ony £1.69 a pint cheapest around by a mile, then walk 2 mins down to ground.
Sounds like a plan

I'll be going 3 kings, but that £1.69 pint sounds like I might head down the road early!

going to meet some stokie mates from oxford and stoke in the shakespeare at victoria, is that anywhere near the above mentioned pubs? Only if you get on the district line and go about 5 stops to West Kensington ... 3 Kings is right by the tube station . If people want Real Ale, i would suggest that the same pub as people used for the Fulham FA cup game would be fine, its at Parsons Green Its probably a 10-15 mins walk upto Stamford Bridge www.viewlondon.co.uk/pubsandbars/the-white-horse-maps-16900.html

We get into Euston at ten to 12, any decent boozers near ID or would you suggest getting straight on the Tube and heading towards the ground?

Plenty of boozers round Euston area, 3 stations on the Euston Rd, loads of pubs on the other side, but probably better to get down nearer the ground and find a boozer down there www.footballgroundguide.com/chelsea/pubs.htm

Best bet is just jumping on tube an getting district line to west ken, three kings is next door to station, an a short walk to the game. Plenty of pubs on the walk aswell... I live local, an that's my plan.

Also if you walk about 2 mins down the street outside West Ken station you will find Ghandi's flat where he used to live when he was a law student in London, very random.

Circle line doesn't go to earls court.
I'd go Marylebone two stops to Paddington, then District to Earls Court. Then you need to take a tube for either Ealing Broadway or Richmond just one stop.
Much simpler than it sounds.
