But Ridsdale told BBC Wales: "Clearly we wish to keep the squad together. We intend to unless an offer comes in that we can't refuse.
"If an offer did come in that was accepted, we would only do that if we thought it would strengthen the club."
that not far off word for word what the sheff utd chairman said!

The headline of the article says that but Ridsdale has said no such thing. Shock horror, sub-editor writes misleading headline - who'd have thought it? ;D

Well if he comes out and says that they've accepted a bid and then the deal falls through then Ridsdale and co get a whole lot of stick from the fans for trying to sell their star player so they keep quiet, refuse to say any bids have been accepted and then if the deal falls through the Baadiff fans think 'well done to the board, ont interested in selling we aren't'. You see where I'm coming from

Agreed with what has mostly been said. I think Ridsdale is covering his arse. I think he quoted earlier that players may well leave Ninnian Park, but only for valuations that meet the clubs.
From what I hear, it's Ledley thats holding it all up.
