Remember seeing this 'Stoke-Eye' lit up..walking over the canal bridge after the Boxing Day clash with the Shit..looked very impressive..so the next day we went up to the Gardens to have a ride..but we were told it couldn't be used because of 'council' objections..
So why is it still there then?
Anyone shed any light on the matter?

My daughter went on it a few times over christmas, and as recently as last Tuesday.
I do know that when they applied for planning on it, it was based on a different wheel. With all the faffing around the original wheel had gone so Trentham got a replacement. Unfortunately the replacement couldnt go exactly on the site of the original plan and had to move something like 18 inches forwards. Trentham then had to apply for revised planning again.
