I hope this doesn't mean we're gonna get rid of Kitson..he hasn't really had a chance yet particularly with being injured for a few weeks. Now we've got Etherington I know Kitson'll score loads..against Chelsea haha!

He said they were still at the ground now! Beattie's at the ground? Kempy was asked about Beattie and he gave the old "we don't like to talk about things until they are done" but then added, "lets put it like this, I'm still at the ground now trying to tie a few things up" or words to that effect.

I didn't hear him say anything about 'still being at the ground' don't know where that's come from. But just to confirm, he was asked by the talk sport presenter, 'have you signed James Beattie'? he replied, 'well, I dont want to discuss anytransfer deal until its done, but we expect to make an announcement very soon'.

He definitely laughed and said "I'm still at the ground now" to illustrate something was on without actually saying it was.

He did say he was still at the ground no doubt about that. It seems very likley the deal is close.

FFS stop being dramatic. Theres a perfectly reasonable explanation. Kemp got home pissed with curry all down his Stoke track suit yesterday and his Missus threw him out.
He called on ric to see if he could bunk up there but Ric just slapped him so he fooked off to Trentham to see Lee Trundle. After 2 hours looking for the house he gave up so ended up at the ground, broke in and is kipping under the South Stand till he sorts himself out.
Thats what he means ;D
