Gary. Once you hit the magic 6 months it opens up more options for ya. This is what I posted before. Ask about it next time you sign on.
You need to go to the job center and asked to be referred to the FLEXIBLE ROUTEWAY. You have to commit to 8 hours per week where they will help with CV's and applications etc. In return they will help you get what training you need/want. I have got an appointment at Stafford col on 30th March but it is run from Stoke on Trent col so should be OK to get on in your area.

WTF - To protect the children and adults of Stoke-on-Trent we undertake a Criminal Records Bureau check and for all posts dealing with children, references will be sought before interviews. shouldn't they be checking the sex offenders register for necrophiliacs

No company NS, he's a one man army ;D. He just works under his own name (you'll be pleased to know he pays his taxes on time too!) He usually takes on contracts for Seddons, but they've not had a lot on for a few months now.

He usually takes on contracts for Seddons, but they've not had a lot on for a few months now. the wife's thinking of new bannisters on the stairs but there's a guy who lives opposite us who is a one man band on interiors, but he's too busy, we've been waiting ages for him, she got the hump and recently went to a small family run firm to have fitted wardrobes put in.

applied for another one yesterday, im sick of it, the least these employers could do, is send you a letter telling you of there decision understand your frustration, and you would think that big employers would, but nowadays people who tend to recruit are line managers who don't have a secretary/PA are snowed under and doing the work of the person who is leaving/left and could get 40-50 applications and haven't time to write back to everybody. That's why quite alot of people use recruitment agencies to filter through things, unfortunatley.
