Ryan is one player that has gone about his business very quietly but effectively, ever since his return to the team in late October! He is fast becoming a rock alongside the super human being that is Ab.Faye! He would be right up there for me as one of the players of the season, well done Ryan and keep it up! He's only 21, what's he going to be like in 5 years time!? ...get him back in that U21 setup!

Totally agree. He had a shocker against Bolton and looked well out of his depth. Since his return to the squad he has hardly put a foot wrong. Long may it continue. Well done Ryan.

You have to doff your cap to Pulis as well how he has handled Ryan and the dropping from the team and his little outburst.

He and Faye are forming a very strong central partnership. He's been very impressive since that awful game against Bolton and, like many of us predicted, when surrounded by experienced leaders like Higginbotham and Faye, he has looked a far better player than he did last season alongside the hapless Cort.

Missing steven gerrard last seem in ryan shawcross pocket gooooooaaaaarrrrn ryan He wasn't in his pocket when he burst through and hit the post ;D No just nit picking your spot on and for some one so young has shown a lot of maturity and the million we paid for him looks an absolute bargain when you think what we paid for Donko.

I agree and yet there's still talk of bringing in centre halves or moving Higgy accross.
If we're looking at spending on the defence it must be at fullback surely
