...for some?
There are several fans I sit with who don't like the way Pulis behaves on the touchline - and they are not alone
He looks too controlled for them - they want him shouting and screaming if we concede a goal etc
Should TP take lessons in drama to make him appear less detatched

He does shout and scream. It just depends who makes the mistake TWM.

I think of Tone as being really emotional, he might keep it in check (when not screaming at anybody!) but the passion's pretty clear isn't it??

Yes I know he does a bit but I think they want more arm waving - particularly when the camera is on him

Yes I know he does a bit but I think they want more arm waving - particularly when the camera is on him It's a bit of a curse in English football, this obsession with "passion". It's all we hear when England fail, it's because they're not "passionate" enough. Passion is the most overrated commodity in football. What does it amount to, clapping your hands and shouting "COME ON!" really, really loud?

Did you hear him bollocking Higgy yesterday? I sit at the back of Seddons and I could hear him so this observation about passion that TWMs friends have made is clearly bollocks anyway.

I think he comes over very creditably, both during the course of matches, and when dealing with the media. I'd rather have his calmness than the passionate ranting of, for example, Wenger, TangoMan or Kinnear.

They want something like Stuart Pearce reaction I think

He was doing his nut at Kitson in the first half (as was Cresswell). TP subjected us to a full chewing gum and water bottle throwing session as Dozy Dave ambled around when the ball was well within challenging distance.
There is only one further action that TP takes when unhappy and that is when his hat gets chucked. Only Sweeney suffered this and he was immediately substituted (as the substitute) and was never seen again at Stoke.

They want something like Stuart Pearce reaction I think God help them then - I'd rather have Pulis as manager than Pearce any day of the week.

I think to be fair to TP he jumps around like a mad man on the touchline and tends to kick every ball. Short of twating the fourth official I'm not quite sure what else he could do!! ;D

Watching Stoke v Liverpool yesterday the last thing I would consider is watching TP to see if hes jumping around or not! If thats all we have to worry about til the end of the season I'll be very happy PS Alan ball used to jump round like a nutcase and I did watch him cos frankly the on pitch stuff was woeful

They want something like Stuart Pearce reaction I think Yeah but I don't think Pulis was ever nicknamed Physco as a player, and he doesn't seem the type to listen to Punk, and is a good 10 years older. Its just not going to happen

You should take him for a session in Leek on Market Day with you Paul.
Judging by the irrational claptrap you come out with after a session, the resulting Managers press conference would make Rafa's outburst lok like childplay!
I think it is called tired and emotional
;D
